We always love when we have an opportunity to photograph weddings close to home. We are familiar with the landscape and options to use for our portraits, Lauren and Gavin were a pleasure to work with and so fun! We started the day with the ladies and gentlemen prep, where everyone was enjoying the morning and getting ready for the grand event. The bride and groom wanted to talk to one another prior to the ceremony, but didn't want to see each other so we set them up on opposite sides of a wall so they could share a first prayer together. We love this option with our couples and encourage it as often as possible, it is so powerful with emotion and love!
After they had a few moments to say some words to each other we prepared for the ceremony, Lauren and Gavin had their wedding set up against a gorgeous red barn. Once the ceremony was complete we did some wedding party portraits and had a blast with all the quirky personalities. We ended the portraits with bride and groom in the orchards and captured some beautiful images of the two newlyweds. The bride and groom made their entrance in typical farm fashion, on atv's using to get around the orchards. We ended the night with dances and toasts, we had a great time and are so grateful for amazing clients like Lauren and Gavin! Please join Josh Wallace Photography in congratulating these two on their new adventure of life!
